Springleaf is expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday. In August, the Evansville-based privately-held financial services firm announced its intent to become a publicly-traded company. Springleaf will trade shares under the ticker symbol "LEAF." It’s initial public offering will include 20 million shares priced at up to $17 each. American General Corporation (AGC) spun-off the Evansville-based company during its reorganization.
