Schnucks has agreed to a proposed settlement of a class action suit after 2.4 million credit and debit cards were compromised earlier this year. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports a judge will rule on the settlement within a few weeks. Under the proposal, Schnucks would pay up to ten dollars to customers for each card that had fraudulent charges posted. The company also would pay for some out-of-pocket expenses such as bank and overdraft fees.
