State School Superintendent Glenda Ritz says she is open to talks to settle her dispute with the State Board of Education, but also says she will not drop her lawsuit against board members. Ritz filed a lawsuit accusing the board of violating Indiana‘s Open Door law. Attorney General Greg Zoeller filed a motion to block the lawsuit, saying the Attorney General is the only person who can file lawsuits on behalf of state agencies and officials. Ritz's lawsuit claims that board members held a secret meeting without her to put together a letter to state lawmakers.
