One of the largest air shows in the Midwest is no more. But you'll still see planes in the sky at the Shrinerfest in Evansville.
The Indy Air Show planning group says it is giving-up on continuing the show, after it had to cancel last summer's event. The $600,000 show's attractions have included the U.S. Air Force’s Thunderbirds and the Navy’s Blue Angels. But they weren't available due to federal budget cuts. The Blue Angels had to cancel appearances in both Indy and Evansville last summer.
